Joey is caught unawares...

Well, this was a time when Joey had to go to the bank. He parks his 150cc guzzler, rearranges his hair, which was alright anyways and walks towards the bank. Its raining a bit and the Sun's at an angle.

Just 5 paces before the bank, he gets an inkling that his zip's not up. He looks down and finds it true. Now, he had to act fast, but without anybody knowing. He looks around. Nobody's there, except a glass door and a huge glass wall. Assured that nobody is looking he lifts up his shirt, pulls her up and walks into the bank.

Moments later, he finds himself sqeezing into the sofa, with all sorts of people giving him all sorts of weird looks. And then, the moment of revelation arrives. He looks up and sees the whole wide world in front of him. Crystal clear through the glass wall, glass door and not to mention his own glasses on his nose.

Damn! He blushes.

Guess who Joey was? :P

Temptations...

Its been quite sometime that I have indulged myself with food. Yeah! I used to have an odd chicken leg, or some handful of oily egg burji. Sometimes, well actually very less times, I get to ravage that two morsels of rice and curry. Usually its the salad and rotis with a little bit of vegetables or dal to get along.

Wondering why I'm being so stuck up about food. Well, it happens to be because of my strict diet regime. You can't have two things at the same time. Choose - great body or good delicious food. And I picked the frigging red pill. And I had total control. It was like Vishwamitra's penance.

But then, one fine day, which happen's to be today, my friend comes along and tells me - Dude, we have got three pizza's ordered. Don't think we can finish it. Can you give us a hand. We took some extra coz we got free desserts.

And thus goes the rationalizing process in my mind.

I'm sick and I need to eat a lot.
Pizza gives energy.
Oh! I have got my exams in two days. Some amount of recreation will help.
Some of the best moments of my life were when I was having pizzas with friends.

and finally,

Darn! Pizzas are good. Don't disrespect them. Eat it!

Thats how I finally gave in! And in hindsight, I think it was not that bad after all. What the hell! The pizzas were great. So were the chocolate icecreams. I had a good time. My conscience can go to hell! Brrrrrrrrr!!!!

I woke up in the morn!

And I felt really sleepy!

Hey! This is a message for you. I mean you. Rain God. Yeah! You conniving, shrewd little hump of a moron. Somehow, I get the feeling that I'm being made the victim of your unfound fury. Or am I part of your evening entertainment. Why? You are asking me why I feel that way? Well! its because of the way you have been treating me, of late.

There is no rain, then I step out of my room and blast! I get thunder showers. There was this time, when the weather was cool, no sign of any rains and I decide to take a stroll. Blam! it starts raining. And why is it that it always stops, once I'm in my room.

And today, its peacefully drizzling and I decide to walk out for my breakfast and lo! what do we have. It starts raining at a 45 degrees angle. Now, you might say that my allegations are farfetched and I'm just an insecure little bastard trying to blame my misfortunes on someone. Well, if it happens once, its fine. Twice, I can understand. Thrice, is tolerable. But, dude! Its happening again and again. It certainly has the dimensions of a design. A design to irritate me.
Well, I'm telling you once and for all, lay off buddy.

Eventful Week!!

It sure was. With the Indian stockmarkets touching dizzying heights, who wouldn't call it eventful. And the best part is one of my clients (who also happens to be a close friend) made huge profits. A 40% ROI within a year was something we thought should be celebrated.

And boy, we did. Good, chinese food, a couple of beers and to top it all, heavy mumbai rains. This place where we had dinner was interesting. It was in a shopping arcade in Hiranandani, Powai. Its got this arena like area with tables and chairs spread out and restaurants all around you. The best part is you could choose your food from any of those restaurants. Like we have the Kababs from A, the beer from B and the main course from C. Call it choice or what.

Anyways, it was a night to remember, what with my friend singing Elvis's songs on the way back.

Make Firefox run faster !

I found something which makes Firefox run faster...

NOTE: ONLY FOR MOZILLA FIREFOX not applicable for IE

1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit
return. Scroll down and look for the following
entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web
page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will
make several at once, which really speeds up page
loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some
number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at
once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New->
Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set
its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the
browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
