Seabiscuit

One of the most interesting movies I have ever watched. Set during the times of the great depression, this movie has parallel storylines. One about the rise of a bunch of characters from nowhere to fame and the other about the resilience of the US economy. Seabiscuit is the story of a neglected horse which is bought by a business man grieving the death of his son, trained by a rustic man who had lived his life amongst horses and jockeyed by somebody who has the gift to understand the temperment of a horse.

Seabiscuit is the story of how a horse helps these people conquer their lives by helping each other out in times of need. Appropriate characters, perfect blend of drama in the right dose and cinematography and a fine storyline makes watching this movie a memorable one.

A good movie after a long time.
