Warren Buffet - NextGen - Part 2

Life is full of uncertainities. I have always had a long term plan. Wanted to become a venture capitalist by 35. Not just to earn millions. But to help a few people realize their dreams. Have been planning it for the past 5 years and I'm inching towards that goal. I'm pleased with myself. However, for every step I take, I face numerous options requiring innumerous judgement calls. Too many permutations and combinations.

I had worked for 4 long years, quit my job which in no way can be called secure, to pursue an MBA and am halfway through it. I always believed that an MBA program would open up the horizons of knowledge and I'm glad it turned out true. Spent the past 18 months sharpening those skills required to realize my dream. Tried to team up with friends. Some combinations seemed to work, some did not. Finally, joined a friend to form an investment company. Well! Actually, we were trying to revive his father's defunct company and we are trying to create an avenue for close friends to invest. I'm happy to have made a modest start.
